Prior to Glasgow City of Science & Innovation I was co-director of Agile City CIC & TAKTAL. Based in north Glasgow my work included the building acquisition and development of Civic House and The Glue Factory, the design and delivery of architecture summer school Test Unit and the management of the events, lettings and communications for The Whisky Bond. More recently I was event producer for the 3-day animation festival MOVE Summit.
My work now managing VentureFest – a yearlong festival of discovery, innovation and entrepreneurship – which aims to connect people and programmes to create more visionary, global businesses that embrace the possibilities of tomorrow. It also includes the Art of Possible event series and the CAN DO Innovation Summit, a headline event for VentureFest Scotland.
