We are delighted to partner with The Melting Pot, to bring you an exciting opportunity to co-work, learn and catch up on Wed 27th April.
About this event
9am – 4pm Co-working
The Melting Pot (TMP) had kindly offered all Can Do Partners complimentary access to their co-working facilities. So why not make the most of the day, escape the office or home and check out their fantastic space! (Select as add-on when securing ticket)
3.30 – 5pm Workshop: Exploring Hybrid Working. Facilitated by Helen Denny, TMP
Join us for an in-person, facilitated workshop with your peers in The Collective, to explore what hybrid working means for you and your organisation, understand common challenges and identify solutions with your peers.
Things are still not ‘back to normal’, and the future is unknown. The fears, hesitations, and apprehensions of bringing people back into the office are all still very present. And people are struggling with their mojo, productivity and mental wellbeing. Many are also concerned about proximity bias and how to ensure equality in the workplace across multiple locations and remote environments.
• Outcomes from TMP Future of the Office research
• Current trends
• A closer look at inclusion and proximity bias
• What are the challenges and opportunities?
• Practical tools and tips
We will create a safe space to share concerns and challenges, and hopefully come up with some solutions to help everyone navigate this tricky terrain all employers are facing.
5.30 – 7.30pm Can Do Social
Come along for some nibbles, drinks, and a chance to catch up with old faces and new, in person, for the first time since January 2020!
We look forward to seeing you there!
Our COVID-Safe policy will be in operation, so we ask that you wear a face covering when standing or moving through the space and not eating or drinking. We have ticketed the event to manage capacity and allowed room for some drop-ins – but if you do know someone who would like to come along who hasn’t registered yet, please give them a nudge to do so. Everyone will be checked in on arrival. And the best way to keep everyone safe is to ensure you explore the whole building whilst here! We have three floors of space to discover which gives plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. If you are feeling unwell, showing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, we request that you please do not attend. If you are unsure please take a lateral flow test beforehand to be safe. Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at the event.
